Hunts
Once you become a member of Clan Centurio, you can take on hunts to earn extra gil, experience and useful items. The hunts are one of the mot important parts in the game. They are a step into unlocking other side quests throughout the game and also unlocking certain bosses and Espers.
Finding a hunt is very easy. You usually find them in the local tavern like the Sandsea in Rabanastre. They can be found on the Notice Board. New bills are posted anytime during the game by people that need a hunter's help. You then agree to speak to the petitioner that will add the hunt to the Clan Primer.
Accepting the hunt is the easy part. You then have to find the petitioner to learn more about the hunt and actually accept the job. Petitioners can be any where in Ivalice, but they are easy to find. There's a map in the Clan Primer if you ever have trouble finding them. Agree to take the job and the petitioner will give you more information. Just remember, the makrs, the target in the hunt, will only appear once you have accepted the job.
Now it's time for the actual hunt. The petitioner has given you the basic imformation on where to find the mark. Once you have defeated the mark, head back to the petitioner and claim your reward. When you do claim your reward, the petitioner might have some information that will lead you to another event.

This hunt is part of the storyline when Vaan visits Tomaj in Rabanastre. The battle is quite simple so use physical attacks but have Potions ready to heal. Don't take this battle lightly. This mark is a little stronger than the monsters in the area. At one point the mark runs away and heals itself. After that just attack it until you defeat it. |
